TIRN is a nonprofit environmental organization based in Marin County, California. Turtle Island carries out three initiatives: the Sea Turtle Restoration Project, the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network, and the Got Mercury Campaign.

TIRN and its suite of marine restoration programs work to protect endangered marine species, save critical ecosystems, improve consumer choices, encourage government action and inspire corporate responsibility, all to protect marine wildlife and the wild oceans we all rely upon.

Turtle Island Restoration Network’s mission is to mobilize people in local communities around the world to protect marine wildlife and the oceans and inland watersheds that sustain them.
