Hands for Africa is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working to alleviate the hardship of thousands of civil war victims in Sierra Leone. Due to the greed surrounding the blood diamond trade, thousands of Africans were maimed and raped, millions more were displaced, and others, even further impoverished. Although the ten-year war in Sierra Leone has ended, blood diamonds continue to be illegally bought, sold and traded.

Hands for Africa was born with a mission to restore lost hope to the innocent. Our organization provides prosthetic devices for the maimed, micro-finance loans, educational scholarships and vocational training to establish self-reliance, clean water, medical aid, and improved living conditions.
