Join the Barksdale team and gain experience in state-wide Georgia politics during a historic political season while working closely with campaign staff from across the state and nation. During this internship, students learn the ins and outs of campaigning with a large focus in field work and have the opportunity to aid all departments, from political to press.
Responsibilities :
Host Phonebanking events
Plan rallies and Meet & Greet events
Assist in cultivating relationships with local leaders
Train volunteers
Attend local meetings as a Barksdale representative
Write thank you notes/meeting briefsGoals:
Learn the ins and outs of voter contact
Understand basics of Votebuilder
Learn how to organize a rally/event
Learn how to manage and coordinate volunteers
