The Happy Africa Foundation (THAF) is a charity registered in the UK (1122529) and a registered NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) in South Africa and Zambia. The Happy Africa Foundation works to implement long-term, positive change in the lives of individuals, families and communities in Africa, currently operating in East and Southern Africa. Our commitment to ‘Educate, Enrich and Empower’ points to our three main areas of focus: Education and Enrichment, Health and Nutrition and Empowering community. We recognise the importance of identifying and fully understanding the unique needs of each community in order to effectively and sustainably address them. To this end, we limit our reach to a smaller number of communities, enabling us to concentrate our efforts on building trust, nurturing lasting relationships and ensuring the sustainability of our involvement in each community.
