Social media intern wanted (Immediate start required)

Food and Alcohol Blogger/Social Media Internship Position: Foodie Con is seeking a diligent and responsible intern who is passionate and knowledgeable in the food industry. Blogger/social media interns will be instrumental in increasing traffic and brand awareness to Foodie Con’s social media platforms.

Responsibilities: * Updating our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, and/or Tumblr regularly • Additional projects as needed

• Execute daily posts on a variety of platforms. • Monitor and maintain social media profiles. • Comment on other posts and blogs to increase Foodie Con’s visibility. • Seek and analyze social media competitor marketing. • Contribute ideas and conduct research for posts. • Work with our team to post timely and relevant content. • Participate in brainstorming creative concepts for campaigns and strategies to increase engagement across digital communities.

Internship positions are available immediately. The internship is unpaid, but is a fantastic learning experience that could potentially lead to future paid position.

Qualifications:

Requirements: • Strong interest and great enthusiasm for the food industry, writing, and blogging. • A solid understanding of youth markets. • This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of social media. • Positive attitude. • Team player. • Professional and punctual. • Technologically savvy. • Creative thinker and problem-solver whose ideas are unique, innovative, and inspire action.

• Work remotely.
• Both applicants seeking school credit and that not seeking school credit are welcome to apply.
• The internship is unpaid.
• Candidates must reside in a location in close proximity to Los Angeles, CA.
