As a Program Support Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about and participate in internship outreach, recruitment, and coordination. You will gain valuable experience and skills, and depending on your college or university’s guideline we make all of our Internships available for academic credit. Plus, we offer free resume reviews and career coaching to support you as you transition from our internship into the next phase of your career.
Although this is a virtual internship and you don’t have to commute to our office, we still expect professionalism and commitment from you. We are looking for the best of best. If you are creative, energetic, and eager to learn, and can commit to at least a one year internship; we want to hear from you!
What to expect during your internship with The Global Grid?
You can expect to gain experience in a variety of areas such as outreach, recruitment, retention, and tracking. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Researching businesses, organizations, and websites within the environmental design community that will increase outreach to internship applicants;
Recruiting international internship applicants through universities, businesses, and organizations;
Coordinating updates to the email database after advertising internship opportunity notices;
Support the internship application process by communicating with applicants and vacancy posters.
Assisting new internship participants with on-boarding;
Tracking blogger performance based upon qualitative measures;
Developing end-of-internship performance reports.
Qualifications:
What were looking for:1 year commitment, contractually;
Superb Internet research skills;
Uninterrupted Internet and computer access, must check email daily;
Independent self-starter;
Detail oriented and organized;
Superior time management skills;
Ability to work remotely;
Interest in environmental design is a plus.
