Internship Description: You will be required to review and evaluate the technology that is currently being used in the company through a business perspective. Improve and find the best methods for getting information to the public. You will be exposed to all aspects of the company through the technology section. Work independently from your location while collaborating with staff, volunteers, and interns as necessary. Intern will be working with the Connecticut Alliance for Business Opportunities, an LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate: Organized, detail-oriented, and the overall ability to represent the firm in a proper business manner. Please have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Tech-savvy. Comfort and proficiency with technology like e-mail, the Internet, MS Office, and have the willingness to learn user-friendly software. Able to multi-task and work independently. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to attend phone meetings a few times a week to conduct interviews and meet with staff. Being adaptable to changes in projects and priorities as required.
