Brendan Boyle for Congress is seeking smart, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team’s campaign in Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional district Democratic primary. Interns will have the opportunity to work in a variety of capacities within the campaign while interacting with the candidate and senior staff on a daily basis.

Many former campaign interns have moved on to paid campaign or legislative positions throughout the region, Harrisburg and Washington, and this internship is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills that are applicable to a variety of jobs in both campaign management, politics and legislative affairs.

With a competitive Congressional and gubernatorial election set to take place in 2014, this opportunity is an excellent way to learn more about the day to day operations of a campaign, the political process and the political environment of Philadelphia, Montgomery County and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Interns will assist the candidate and senior staff with a variety of tasks, including research, data management and entry, assisting in the coordination of community outreach and events, managing interactions and contact with supporters and other community organizations.

Qualifications:

No experience is required and students from all courses of study are welcomed to apply. Skills desired include excellent written and verbal communication, familiarity with Microsoft Office (preferred, though not required), as well as the ability to work well with others and multitask effectively.
