Are you a web savvy marketer who lives and breathes social media? Do you love starting insightful conversations online? Then International Computer Concepts (ICC) may have the perfect role for you!

ICC is seeking an intern to help complement our marketing efforts by increasing our social media presence and authority, while also constantly looking for new ways to grow our engagement on the web. This is a part-time flexible position with some opportunity to work both in office (Northbrook, IL) and remotely.

Primary Objectives and Responsibilities:

-Research and develop content for our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, etc.) to boost our existing presence and brand equity

-Work with other marketing efforts to execute coordinated social media campaigns

-Research additional methods of increasing our social media brand value (e.g. increased exposure of our expertise and authority, effective paid advertising options, etc.)

-Research and help implement approved web engagement strategies that may involve other social web properties such as forums and third-party blogs

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

-Strong background in social media marketing (including paid advertising via social media)

-Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or other similar tools

-Strong ability to write marketing copy

-Able to work independently when necessary, as well as being able to coordinate with other marketing efforts

-Creative marketing mind who can take our existing social media brand and grow it in a positive way

In addition, knowledge of enterprise computer hardware (e.g. servers, storage systems, motherboards & other components) and related technical concepts (RAID, virtualization, overclocking, etc.) is highly desired. A degree in computer science or engineering is a plus, as is knowledge of Supermicro-based servers.
