Full-Time Copywriter/SEO Specialist Internship

Medium Blue (founded in 2000) is an established, well-respected online marketing agency with a global clientele. We are currently seeking a qualified, full-time, copywriter/SEO specialist to work in an intern position within our content development and SEO departments. This individual will have an opportunity to work remotely the majority of the time, if desired.The copywriter/SEO specialist intern will work within the content development and SEO department on a variety of tasks for our clients. Daily responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: writing, re-writing, copyediting and proofreading a wide variety of optimized content for clients; conducting keyphrase research and other on-page SEO work; analyzing and reporting analytics for various platforms and marketing initiatives, and more.
The copywriter/SEO specialist intern must have an excellent grasp of the English language and its rules of spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It is imperative that individuals in this position have the capacity to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
This position is highly collaborative and offers significant opportunities for growth; as such, the individual holding it must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. It is also critical that the specialist be highly curious, capable, have a positive attitude, and be determined to learn and grow.
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism or a related discipline is required. Candidates with a strong writing, research, and/or SEO background will have an advantage. While the right person for this job will have the opportunity to work remotely the majority of the time, we are only considering candidates residing in the metro-Atlanta area.Candidates must have writing samples to qualify (marketing samples are preferred). Select candidates will also be required to undergo a writing and related competency skills assessment.
