A fantastic opportunity to get some training and work experience in a prestigious hotel chain in China. You will working in the fast expanding luxury hotel sector in China gaining individual and teamwork skills and learning how to enhance the experience of Chinese and international clients.

Gain valuable hands on experience with a distinguished company in a recognized industry sector global hot-spot whilst learning Mandarin and gaining an insight into Chinese business culture. Learn new skills and professional practices, make new friends and develop career connections and not have to worry about accommodation or living cost concerns.

Interns will be working in the customer service and F&B; service side and culinary arts areas. Full training and on-going mentoring will be provided.

Successful applicants will be offered a choice of hotel locations in China to choose from. Options will include placements at renowned marquee locations as well as alternatives in burgeoning commercial and/or historic cities in western provinces.

A credit bearing outcome towards studies can be facilitated if required. The hotel group has a good record of cooperating with Western educational institutions. Interns also working towards Hotel Management qualifications have received academic credits by their institutions’ when completing an internship with the hotel group. Co-Aim International can assist in setting up the required credit bearing internship framework with the hotel.

Placement Features:

Working Hours: Full time

Allowance: 2500 - 4000 RMB per month (depending on hotel location)

Schedule: Shift work

Duration: up to 6 months

Number of placements available: 20

Start date: From January 2014 - ongoing through 2014

Also Included:

1 week Orientation on arrival, includes mandarin classes and cultural awareness training

Weekly Mandarin lessons and cultural activities available alongside the internship.

Full support on visa, pre-arrival, insurance advice and airport pick-up

Full internship support and assistance on administrative, pastoral and other issues (on site/off-site)

The fee for the complete internship placement service, including everything mentioned above for 3 to 6 (no extra charges for additional months >3) months is: US$ 2800 + $300 deposit
