Company/Organization: The Mansion on O Street
Description:
The Mansion on O Street™
everything is possible. dare to be different. The Journey
venture beyond
the safe boundaries
of your imaginationWe are looking for a literature loving intern to help organize our impressive collection of over 30,000 books this fall. We need someone to help sort, catalog, and research pricing of our first edition novels, rare finds, even books signed by their authors. This internship has the possibility to develop, giving interns the chance to work on other detail oriented research projects. Come work in our thought provoking atmosphere that has inspired dozens of authors to write about us—including James Patterson who devoted four pages to The Mansion and even gave our exact address in his best-selling novel Four Blind Mice! Please subscribe to our youtube channel before applying so you can see who we are.
Within all interns first week at The Mansion on O Street, they are not given a project. Instead, they help out with different aspects of The Mansion. These tasks will not necessarily correlate to what they initially thought their internship would center on but this helps us to get to know the interns before giving them a definitive project. By having them help with spur of the moment tasks their first week, we are able to better tailor internships to be a good fit for the intern as well as for The Mansion.
