The Chicago Development IT Group is responsible for creating and supporting products and tools that provide a wide range of financial and ratings data to our clients. We are seeking a forward-thinking Java developer with extensive test driven development experience to play a key role in the design and development of our next generation website and apps.Responsibilities:
Assists in the designs and development of web-based java applications to support business requirements and projects.
Learn and utilize SDLC process and its associated tools.
Assist in system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
Identifies opportunities and lead effort to improve system efficiency and reduce support footprint.
Contributes to the testing for applications.
Gain an overview of application support, DevOps, and Cloud initiatives

Requirements:
Eager to learn and have a passion to explore and experiment with the latest technologies
Passion for software engineering and craftsman-like coding prowess
Interest in being part of a production support and application development team
