Description:

As part of our multimedia team, you will be responsible for sharing the creations each of our participants produce. Your skills will allow the rest of the world to Know My World.

Exhibit knowledge with various digital tools and software. Due to the vastness of our participant’s means, we receive a variety of formats and file types. Be prepared to test your strength.

Content editing and web maintenance
Content received via email or Dropbox. If content is to be edited, notes will be provided by KMW administrator with guidelines. Final Cut Pro or Vegas Video software knowledge preferred. Content will then be added to site as posts, along with images. Knowledge of thumb nail construction is required.

Video files are to be housed on the KMW Youtube channel first and URL to be added to KMW media pool.
All media should be prepared in such a way that it is able to be shared on other sites including social media.

Organization of website will include reconfiguration of user accessibility i.e. new headings in navigation menu, updating dynamic content, building new pages, and creating archives.

What you give:
Editing of audio, video and photography materials (must have knowledge of video editing software) Final cut pro preferred.
Distribution of videos and content via online channels
Knowledge of Wordpress Thesis and web applications..

What you develop:
In-depth understanding of technology and it’s usage all over the globe
Experience working on international projects
Opportunity to create graphics and design along with KMW administrators and marketing team

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Wordpress Thesis and web applications.
HTML and CSS experience
Adobe photoshop and Illustrator proficiency
Working knowledge of Javascript

Edit and prepare video, audio and photography content for upload to KMW website. (Contingent on influx of content/no more than 4 hours per week as needed)
Organize and house content on both KMW site and exterior sites i.e. Youtube channels. (Approximately 1-2 hours of prep time with content upload)
Maintain organization of postings and blog entries submitted by KMW administrators. (1-2 hours as needed)
Work closely with Marketing Intern and KMW Administration in the design and posting of KMW branding including logo, site design and organization, and web formatting. (Can be up to full 6 hours per week as needed)
