Public Relations Agency specializing in Food, Wine and Spirits is looking for a passionate Social Media and Marketing intern at their NYC office for the Spring 2014 semester. As an intern you will develop an understanding of the food and beverage industry and gain experience working with media.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Find articles and events related to the industry for the client
• Find influencers in the industry that relate to the client
• Build list on Twitter
• Write Facebook post and responses
• Write tweets and replies
• Research the industries that relate to the client
• Monitor the social media channels daily
• Run and build social media reports
• Find and pull artwork for content
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS
• You must have solid communication skills and be looking to shape your written and verbal skills for consumer PR.
• You must be eligible for school credit
• You must be available 2-3 days per week
• Basic computer skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with Facebook pages, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, You Tube
