We are looking for Business Development / Corporate Sponsors intern (College level of higher) to help support and facilitate the B~STEM Project (www.bstemproject.org) growth through developing and implementing business, sales strategies and fundraising. Through the B~STEM Project, were looking to expand our efforts to help young girls and women in technology. This includes researching and identifying business development and corporate sponsorship opportunities as well as outreach to companies.

PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENT MUST LIVE IN U.S., WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS AT THIS TIME.

This non-paid position that starts immediately for 6 months. Intern will work remotely 15-20 hours weekly and be available for weekly calls.

Qualifications:

Our Business Development / Corporate Sponsorship intern must be a independent worker, self-starter, forward thinker and dependable. Time management and organization is essential. We are looking for and intern who can come up with solutions and is confident at implementing ideas. Must be very pro-active and dedicated.

- Ability to organize, build files, create databases in excel, etc.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member
- Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/by phone and email
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Excellent at advanced research utilizing the internet
- A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree or equivalent education is a plus
