The Gwinnett Gladiators Professional Hockey team is seeking candidates with an interest in the field of sports management for internships. Course credit can be awarded based on successful completion of the Gladiators internship program to those applicants requiring it. Game night internships will be unpaid. The program will run from the beginning of October through the end of the season and playoffs if necessary. Candidates must be willing to work all 36 regular season games and playoff games as needed. The season will consist of games being played on both weekend and weeknight dates. Candidates must possess reliable transportation and the ability to work long hours. Candidates will be helping with all aspects of game night activities and marketing promotions.

Game activities and promotional sponsorship duties include:
- Pre game set up and organization
- Prospecting potential intermission participants
- Shadowing game operations employees and in stand promotional hosts
- Set up and break down of all pre game and intermission activities
- Assisting with intermission contests on the ice
- Assisting with in stand promotions and sponsor required aspects of the game night
- Delivery of in game aspects and documentation to various arena staff
- Post game Gladiators promotional handouts
- Participating in on ice sponsor activities

Qualifications:

Requirements of candidates
- Ability to comfortably walk on ice (smooth or chopped)
- Ability to lift at least 25lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work late hours and consecutive days
- Ability to easily adjust to the dynamic nature of in game aspects
- Outgoing personality and comfort talking with guests
- Excellent customer service
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to multi task and focus on several items at once
- Professional appearance to uphold the Gladiators standards of appearance
- Ability to be self governed to complete game tasks without supervision
