During this internship, you will work directly with our editorial team to learn how to generate well-crafted, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for websites, social media, and more. We will help you obtain the following certifications:

Heres what you will be doing:

- Writing engaging and SEO-friendly articles for our web-site and Facebook page.
- Research and write about topics related to small business and black-owned businesses (challenges, success stories, best practices, etc)
- Interview entrepreneurs, business owners and other thought leaders
- Participating strategy and content sessions with the editorial team.
- Learning the core fundamentals of SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and make sure that all of the content aligns with the overall marketing strategies

Qualifications:

Qualifications

- Enrolled in university or college (English, journalism, communications or public relations major preferred)
- Strong writing experience highly preferred
- Basic understanding of social media tools and principles
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with teammates and fully deliver on all commitments to meet deadlines
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must possess your own computer with reliable internet service
