Wachsman PR, a Wall Street-based public relations agency, is seeking an intern for immediate hire. The intern position is available for the Spring semester, typically from January through April. The intern will be a dedicated, enthusiastic team player, capable of switching between projects seamlessly in support of Account Coordinators and Executives.

This is not a consumer PR position. Only applicants who submit a cover letter will be considered.

Qualifications:

Duties:
Assisting in the preparation and execution of PR campaigns for novel organizations
Building media lists
Preparing account documents
Compiling client media placements
Drafting, editing and reviewing press materials
Generating story ideas and angles
Undertaking industry research
Daily media monitoring
Creating social media content
Skills & Requirement
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to actively identify opportunities for clients
Ability to communicate clearly and transfer complex information in a concise and clear form
Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Motivated to excel in a fast paced environment
Ability to maintain a high level of social, organizational and professional standards in job-related activities
Ideal Experience
Studying PR, Journalism, Communications or related field.
Interest in finance and economics preferred
