Description:

City Travel Review organises gap projects which integrate work, study and travel. We aim to provide opportunities for young people to gain work experience, learn a foreign language and explore a new culture in one of our destinations in Europe, including Berlin. With the help of journalism workshops and meetings, project members are expected to do extensive research on the city and create a unique and publishable guide for young travellers. It is believed that, at the end of the project, members will gain invaluable experience in travel writing and acquire useful journalism and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

We seek young individuals who has an out-going and fun-loving personality, and are interested in travel writing, journalism, history, art or geography – just something which makes you enthusiastic about embracing a different culture. It does not matter what you study or whether you speak German, Spanish and French or not. It is also no big deal whether you are an undergraduate, postgraduates or working young people. Instead, we value teamwork and sometimes a sense of humour because we hope that members will get on well with each other, work cooperatively and produced a guide which is attractive and fun to read. We also value individuals who demonstrate good organisation and interpersonal skills, effective communication and a willingness to learn.
