underserved DC youth is looking for an intern to work as a Program Coordinator. Candidate must beavailable 20-25 hours per/week.
Position is unpaid: 20-25 hours per/week (some weekends).
Description of Duties:
Provide direct service support in tutoring and mentoring underserved youth
Lead manager in volunteer recruitment
Development and facilitation of programming activities, events, and strategic
planning
Qualifications:
Commitment to Social Justice and Educational EquityExperience supporting educational/emotional development of urban youth
Ability to professionally represent organization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
