We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization formed in 1992, to provide training opportunities to college graduates in TV/radio news reporting, sports and weather reporting, news management, TV production (special projects).We offer opportunities to those individuals who have encountered substantial difficulty in gaining access to broadcast careers.
The goal of the program is the development of writing, editing, producing and reporting skills while working as a television reporter in a small-to-medium market station.
Each trainee will complete the program with a thorough understanding of all aspects of television and/or radio news broadcasting or production.
Applications open July 2017.
NOTE: We are not a school. We are a non-profit. We select up to 6 people a year and place them as news reporter trainees at small-to-medium markets across the US. There is no cost to apply or be placed.
