An elegant historic house and decorative arts museum Macculloch Hall Historical Museum is both a historic house interpreting 150 years of the Macculloch family and a showcase for the W. Parsons Todd collection of 18th and 19th century American and English fine and decorative arts. Macculloch Hall Historical Museum comprises nine period rooms and three exhibit galleries, one of which is devoted to the largest collection of cartoonist Thomas Nast’s works in the country. Interns at the museum work on multitude of projects including hands on, behind the scenes, museum experience, a variety of office work, which include computer based projects, research, and data entry. Interns also assist with exhibit preparations, special projects and programs. Interns have the option to learn to work with the public by becoming a touring docent leading tours through the period rooms and galleries of the museum. Internships and volunteer positions are available at the museum year round. Internships with the education department are also available.
