Description:

This is an on-site unpaid internship role for an Office Assistant. The intern will assist with administrative tasks such as filing, file openings and closings, and scheduling. This is a teaching internship, especially suitable for pre-law, psychology, or sociology majors. Topics include legal issues relating to my practice including ethics, as well as diversity and inclusion issues in the child welfare system, and the broader legal system.

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Organizational and time management skills
Currently pursuing or received a degree in a law-related field, psychology or sociology.
High School seniors may apply if their school can give credit for an internship
As this internship is unpaid, preference will be given to students who can receive academic credit for an internship.
The internship is on-site in a home office in Parsippany, NJ. Applicants must be comfortable working in a home office.
