Return on Change (RoC), a thought leader in the investment crowdfunding industry, is looking for an Intern prepared to engage in a high-pace growth environment with significant opportunities for learning and leadership. RoC’s goal is to enable game changing startups and entrepreneurs connect with investors in the areas of technology, cleantech, medtech and social enterprise. The RoC Intern should expect to learn the field from top to bottom and directly engage in the strategic discussion of the company with the management team. Its essential that applicants have excellent communication skills, creativity, independence, and attention to detail. The RoC Intern will be working directly with the CEO and Business Development Team team, so this will be a great opportunity for those who have a strong interest in the startup industry, or the investment crowdfunding industry.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities

- Work on the business plan and keep it up to date with current updates
- Work with the finance director to generate budgets and financial projections
- Formulate strategic considerations and presentations for investor meetings
- Work with the Business Development team and the CEO to identify critical strategic objectives
- Work with the Operations Manager to ensure timely execution of tasks throughout the different
- Teams as well as provide updates to the CEO on initiatives and endeavors that are being pursued
- Keep up to date on investment crowdfunding and related regulations as well as events at the SEC which would be pertinent to the RoC business model
- Generate internal papers designed to provide education for the industries that RoC directly deals with
- A solid understanding of the startup industry and a strong interest in startup financing

Requirements

Students applying for this internship must have strong financial and communication skills and should be majoring in Management, Finance, Accounting or a related major. In addition to having strong writing skills, applicants should have a solid understanding of the startup industry as well as a go-to attitude with the ability to take on tasks without constant direction.
