Ishimma is a line of natural hair care products for black women designed to keep hair moisturizes all day long. In addition to our product line, we support the empowerment for young women and girls.

With our blogger internship, we train our bloggers to become better writers and better web researchers. Our blog provides information as well as opinion pieces that are helpful for our readers. Most intern work will be done online, so interns are able to reside anywhere within the United States.

The intern position entails:
- Weekly Blog Writing & Research
- Keyword Engine Optimization for Blog posts
- Reading and Commenting on other Blogs within the natural hair community (~5/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and write blog posts related to topics in black hair care or natural hair care, with a minimum of 1-2 blog posts per week.
- Respond to blog post comments through Ishimma webpage
- Interacting with other hair care blogs through comments, postings
- Being active in sharing your post content through social media (Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc)
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
18 years of age or older
Strong interest in writing
Reliable Internet Access
Dedicated phone line (Skype account for interview)
Interest in Black/African-American Womens Hair Care and Natural Hair Care
Must attend online orientation

WRITING SKILLS:
Strong Writing Skills are an ABSOLUTE must – a writing sample will be required
Experience with blog writing and Wordpress experience is preferred
Being technologically savvy is a must
