Responsive Law is seeking law, graduate, and undergraduate students to intern for Summer 2022.

Responsive Law is a national nonprofit advocacy organization that works to improve accessibility, accountability, and affordability in the civil justice system. We advocate for consumer-centered regulation of the legal industry that promotes more affordable options for legal help from either lawyers or other service providers.

Interns will work directly with the Executive Director and will engage in policy research in support of our advocacy efforts before bar associations, state supreme courts, and state legislatures.

We allow interns to work remotely or in-person, but prefer interns who are able to work in person with us in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities include:
- Conducting policy research on legal policies across all 50 states;
- Summarizing proposed amendments and ethics opinions
- Writing blog posts, updating, and editing website;
- Observing and reporting on bar meetings
- Performing other duties and special projects as needed.
