Description:

Poultry is our main-stay. We raise & sell chicks, and give advise to customers that are encountering problems, or need help with choice of feeds available. We also do a fair amount with swine, equine, canine, feline etc... Rotation of feeds, along with inventory and advertising. We are a small store, so we all pitch-in between the store, the horse barn and poultry coops. Depending on the time of year, we switch things up a bit and work on various projects.

Qualifications:

Basic Feed Knowledge of various animals, and the interest to expand your knowledge. Must be physically fit, as many of the feeds come in 50lb sacks. Show up in the morning clean and neat in appearance, yet not afraid to get dirty during the day. Willing to live on the island, small trailer is provided for your housing. Cheerful attitude, especially when dealing with the public. Enjoy the company of young children visiting the ranch, and explain how to properly care for their animals.

Paid Internship Info:

800.00 per mo + housing

Additional Info:

Strong Equine Interest or Previous Experience is a PLUS. Experience with facebook advertising the new apps and any marketing skills is also extremely welcome.
I can further explain the living arrangement, as the trailers are small, but are not shared living. Everyone has their own space.
