Plan, organize, coordinate events/programs/meetings (i.e. RR, WHW, Forums, Donut Booths, etc.) with Client Services Director, MUYOM® members, and campus contact
Shadow and then participate in all aspects of client peer advocacy, including: parenting, one-on-one advocacy, Women’s Health Workshops, Abortion Recovery, God Conversations, Relationship Reality, Care Cottage support
Counseling interns will spend the majority of their time engaging in client interaction through peer advocacy
Assist Client Services Director with various program development, projects, + implementation
Recruit college students on all 6 of Greensboro’s college campuses (UNCG, Bennett, A&T, GTCC,
Greensboro College, Guilford College) to join MUYOM® as officers or members; specific focus on President and Faculty Advisor
Post MUYOM® flyers/posters on all campuses and around high-student traffic areas (bulletin boards in dorms and health services/counseling centers, bathroom stalls in pubs, bars, clubs, etc.) in accordance with their own posting policies/rules
Utilize e-mail, phone, and face-to-face communication to bridge gap between Greensboro area-college
campuses and the Care Center, developing other social media
Other Client Services related tasks that would fulfill internship requirements (attend a campus presentation, Great to Wait, etc)

Qualifications:

Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the life-affirming position and sexual purity
Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies of the Center
Be able to respect and keep information confidential
Complete Equipped to Serve Training, Stand to Reason Training, Shadowing
Have a friendly, clearly understood voice and manner
Be dependable and committed to the Pregnancy Care Center ministry
Be able to communicate the MUYOM® and the Care Center message to those in the college community with charisma and professionalism
