Micky London is a fashion accessories showroom based in New York. (mickylondon.com)??We are looking for independent individuals with a strong drive to succeed. This is not an internship for anyone afraid of hard work. We offer our interns a chance to really get their feet wet in the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping packages, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (namely Excel and PowerPoint), have working knowledge in Photoshop and/or Illustrator, and be very organized and creative. Were looking for candidates who have common sense, are resourceful, and eager to learn.
This is an unpaid internship that can lead to a paid position for the right candidate. School credit will be given.
Responsibilities include:

-Checking samples in and out
- Assisting during showings
- Quality and Inventory Control
- Running errands
- Researching retailers, publications and stylists
- Assisting with planning and executing events
- Keeping up the appearance of the showroom
- Monitor office supplies
- Answer phone calls
- Produce content for other Social Media channels (i.e. Polyvore, Pinterest, Tumblr), as needed.
- Research Social Media best practices and campaign ideas from other organizations, and share them with the team.

Qualifications:

Interns should be:
• A writer, who is skilled at communicating thoughts in a friendly, punchy manner.
• A social media addict, who understands the ins and outs of popular social networks, and is comfortable diving head first into posting, tweeting, pinning.
• A creative thinker who will come up with creative ideas to monitor inventory and quality control.
•Motivated and eager to learn

Minimum 2-5 Days a week.
Minimum 4 Hours a Day.
Must have laptop and cell phone.
Must have Microsoft Suite.
