Maka Social is a revolutionary technology designed to break through those barriers that keep us apart to the benefit of organizations hardest hit by mental health and to increase revenue in places where we already gather.
We are seeking a motivated part-time marketing intern eager to embark on a high-growth adventure and learn practical skills for succeeding in the workplace under the guidance of mentors with over 10 years of professional sales experience. Working for a small company has its advantages. You’ll have a seat at the decision-making table making your opinions and ideas heard by company leadership.
How You Will Help Us
• Help us conduct user experience audits on new versions of our app before they go to the public
• Design, implement, and monitor Facebook ad campaigns for a variety of customer types and sales funnel stages.
• Accompany other team members to networking events and trade shows for the purpose of making professional contacts.
• Participate in live stream discussions on articles relevant to our cause for the purpose of content creation.

Qualifications:

Personal Skills:
• Desire to learn new skills.
• Able to work independently with some direction.
• Comfortable with somewhat ambiguous instructions. We don’t always have the answers either. Independent research and experimentation are sometimes needed, and we share what we learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills:
• Must have a high degree of comfort with Windows and Microsoft Word, and Excel
• High degree of comfort with either an android or apple mobile device.
• Must be an active user of either Facebook or Instagram.
• Photo and video editing skills are a big plus, but not necessary.
