Learning & Capacity Building Internship

Interns in our Learning and Capacity-Building team participate in the implementation of a worldwide learning strategy. Through meaningful assignments in a collaborative environment and under the guidance and direction of the Human Resources- Learning & Capacity Building team, Interns will develop marketable skills relevant to a career in learning and development or human resources.This internship is unpaid and can be used for academic credit.
Intern Assignments:
- Compile and analyze workforce demographics data, learning metrics, personnel feedback, and performance management data
- Support the facilitation, coordination and logistics of training workshops
- Research, assess, and organize learning materials, resources, and courses
- Assess WCS U improvement needs through surveys and in person feedback
- Participate in group discussions utilizing knowledge in coursework
- Document meetings to capture and improve the implementation of WCS U
- Complete any ad hoc projects, as requestedInterns will complete an orientation program, shadow members of the Human Resources team, and receive regular feedback and coaching. Interns will be expected to summarize the learning gained during the internship as well as complete any other paperwork that may be required to obtain academic credit.
Upperclassmen working towards a BA or MA in I/O Psychology/Human Resources Management or related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the non-profit sector
- Solid Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Team player
- Desire to learn more about learning and development
- Understanding of data analysis & interpretation
- Innovative, strategic and critical thinking skills
