Orlando Repertory Theatre (“Orlando REP”) is seeking a Stage Management Intern for the 2020-2021 season!The Orlando REP staff strives to create a comfortable atmosphere for growing and learning while you hone your professional skills and build your portfolio under our wing. Interns at Orlando Repertory Theatre not only get a one-of-a-kind experience from a professional staff; they also have unique access to industry professionals from Disney, Universal, and other leading organizations through networking and career counseling workshops. Interns also benefit from complimentary tickets to Orlando REP productions during their stay. Housing is not provided.
The Stage Management Internship provides a professional experience essential to anyone building their portfolio. Working side-by-side with Orlando REP’s resident Stage Manager, you will become an integral part in supporting the production process as the Assistant Stage Manager. You will have the unique opportunity to work with Orlando REP’s award winning Youth Academy on the largest production of the year over the summer, as well as working on up to 4 different productions as part of our professional season. From production meetings to rehearsals, and from generating paperwork to managing actors and technicians, you will gain experience in all aspects of stage management. Applicants should have previous stage management experience from an academic environment and be comfortable working with children. This internship is based on a 40 hour work week and the intern receives a weekly stipend of $175 to assist with living expenses.
This internship is a year-long commitment running August through August.

Orlando Repertory Theatre, one of Central Florida’s oldest arts groups, is the State of Florida’s only professional Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA), and the seventh iteration of a company founded in 1926. Each year, we reach over 100,000 individuals in our three-theatre facility and in the community through our season of professional productions, a Youth Academy of camps and classes, and innovative educational and community engagement programming.
