Sales Intern is responsible for supporting the Sales Executives team to meet or exceed predetermined goals. Working in collaboration with the Sales Manager, you will service and secure relationships with various businesses, agencies or individuals that have a desire to reach their target audience through various social, local and media advertising channels and services.

Responsibilities:
As a General Business Sales Intern, your duties may include but are not limited to:

Shadow Sales Executives and assist with special sales projects
Lead generation through canvasing, cold calls, referrals and qualified leads
Assist in setting and attending appointments under the supervision of management
Prepare, deliver, and follow-up on product proposals and quotes
Assignment of a small base of accounts that require account management duties
Special projects as assigned by Sales Management
Regularly updating the in-house CRM system
Work collaboratively with other interns
Documents filing

Qualifications:

Must be a current student enrolled in a College or University undergraduate or graduate degree program
An academic background in or a strong interest in communications, marketing, journalism, and/or creative writing;
Firm grasp on available social media tools with Basic skills on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr etc
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written skills
Hard-working, integrity, relationship-builder with a winning attitude
Valid drivers license with good driving record required
Applicant must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20hrs/week and must have a personal smart device
