Volunteering and internships with Ssamba Foundation in Mukono district of Uganda is 100% free. Although you are responsible for your flight, visas and living costs, there is no program or weekly fees to get involved. We appreciate your time and allow you to use your compassion and skills to help make the world a better place at no cost to you!
At Ssamba Foundation, the volunteer program options available are endless – we operate and support local schools, a women microfinance project, a community health clinic and social community center.

Qualifications:

Ssamba Foundation accepts volunteers and interns from all over the world. You can apply to volunteer or intern in any of our projects from anywhere between 4 weeks up to 3 months. Opportunities are open for, high school students, university groups, and all who are interested.

Applicants must:

be aged 18 or over on the proposed date of arrival in Uganda
be available for an overseas program of 1, 2 or 3 months
be, in the opinion of the Ssamba Foundation team, likely to benefit from and contribute to the program
be able to raise the necessary funding required
be able to communicate effectively in English
