The Theater Offensive, New England’s premiere lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) theater, seeks motivated, conscientious, arts/activist or business-oriented folks to intern in the following areas:**each internship is designed individually with the intern’s interest in mind**
Intern to the Executive Artistic Director - Learn how to run a theatre!
Communications/Marketing Intern– Social Media, E-blasts, Posters and More
True Colors Intern – Work in the room with LGBT youth artists
Programs Department Intern - Support OUT in Your Neighborhood and True Colors: OUT Youth Theater programming through administration and research
Grants Intern – Help us make the case to foundations and government for queer theatre with communities.
Development Intern – Celebrate the generous folks who make our work possible at every giving level. Help plan and host fundraising parties!
Production Intern – Help with tasks to make our shows happen!

Benefits: Internships at The Theater Offensive may be stipended or unpaid. Interns receive academic credit, if desired and are eligible for free tickets at area shows, as well as invitations to cast parties, artist receptions, and visiting artist workshops. Interns may also qualify for one-of-a-kind job/school recommendations, professional referrals, community networking, and organizational resources.
Experience with lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender and racially diverse urban communities a plus. LGBTQ, people of color and differently abled people are strongly encouraged to apply. Internships are geared to undergrad, graduate and mature-aged students and non-students of all ages and experience levels.
