The Global Grid is seeking qualified applicants for Guest Blogger Editor Internships. As a Guest Blogger Editor, you will have the opportunity manage the guest blogging program. You will gain valuable experience and skills, and we make all of our internships available for academic credit. In addition, we offer free resume and career coaching to support you as you transition from our internship into the next phase of your career.

This is a virtual internship, and although you don’t have to commute to our office, we still expect professionalism and commitment from you. We are looking for the best of the best. If you are creative, energetic, and eager to learn, and can commit to at least a one year internship; we want to hear from you.

What to expect during your internship with The Grid?

You can expect to gain experience in a variety of areas such as marketing and outreach, editing, Wordpress formatting, and collaborating with and a diverse group of international bloggers. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

Increased knowledge and exposure to blog manager and editing career opportunities;

Ability to utilize WordPress blogging software with increased knowledge of functionality and features;

Experience editing blogs according to formatting instructions;

Discovering the purposes behind formatting blogs and their marketing advantages;

Learn how Twitter is used for marketing blogs;

Ability to discern quality blog post id

Qualifications:

Excellent English writing and editing skills;

Uninterrupted Internet and computer access, must check email daily;

Initiative in managing a guest blogging program;

Independent self-starter;

Great communication and people skills, a natural motivator;

Multicultural understanding and awareness;

Ability to work remotely;

Previous experience as a writer for a blog is a plus.
