LEDC’s Small Business Services team recently changed its data collection platform to a new CRM software. The DC Small Business Data Collection and Program Intern will serve to support the Small Business Development Program’s overall programming merge its existing database with a new platform that tracks LEDC’s Small Business Clients. The intern will work hand-in-hand with the Small Business Development manager and Lending manager in order to successfully carry out the project. This is an excellent opportunity for any student interested in learning about data collection processes and principles of evaluation. The student will have the opportunity to carry out a small evaluation project of their interest (with direction and approval from Program Director).

• Merge information from data-sets, intake forms to pipe-drive
• Assist with data collection through email and phone-banking
• Ensure quality data collection and data input
• Work alongside team members in Montgomery County, MD., Baltimore City, and Washington DC.
• Assist with reporting requirements, when needed
• Serve as a critical team player who takes initiative and comes up with innovations and efficiencies for the Department

Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual - Spanish and English
• Must be detail oriented
• Preferably an upperclassman student
• Excellent communication skills, good with people
