Research topics from Lester R. Brown’s book: “Plan B: Mobilizing to Save Civilization”
Gain experience presenting topics using the 270ş visualization environment of the World Resource SimCenter.
Work in teams with international students, learn from their cultures and spend your summer making a difference.This eleven-week program will address the global energy challenges and how these challenges can be overcome by transitioning to a new energy economy. Brown’s book stresses the need to cut global carbon emissions, control world population, eradicate poverty and preserve the planet’s natural landscape. You will complete the Global Classroom with a strong understanding of current global issues and how we can solve them.
Qualifications:
