Description:

We are looking for an intelligent, hard-working, and organized intern to assist our growing energy consulting firm in performing Energy Efficiency Audits of commercial buildings in San Francisco. Tasks will vary between:

• Conducting building walk-throughs with our energy consultants
• Organizing walk-through notes, pictures, and utility bills
• Assist in making a list of energy efficiency measures and performing energy saving calculations
• Research energy saving technologies and equipment
• Completing a complete energy audit report

This is an opportunity learn and obtain experience in the quickly growing Energy and “Green” Industry. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills while also being able to multi-task. You must be professional, self-motivated, high-energy, well organized, and ambitious.

Initially, most tasks can be completed from home once trained by an energy consultant.

We are looking for someone long-term who is looking for a career, not just a short-term internship. If you are a self-starter and are interested in working in the “green” industry, then this is the right position for you.

Qualifications:

We are looking for motivated individuals, preferably with a background in engineering or economics. The ideal candidate will possess, or be willing to learn, the following abilities:

• Use formulas to calculate energy savings of recommended improvements
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, building, or energy systems.
• Multi-task and complete multiple projects at once
• Ability to work 10-20 hours per week
