Our client, a freight forwarding and shipping company, is specialized in the lifting and movement of over-dimensional loads. The company offers cost-effective and professional solutions for over-dimensional transport including loading, securing, offloading and rigging.For their office in Hillside, New Jersey they are currently looking for an intern to support their team for 12 months, starting in May/June 2013.
• Assistance with import and export shipments
• Setting up trucking
• Preparation of documents for customs clearance
• Issuing invoices
• Supporting the import coordinator
Qualifications:
• Completed apprenticeship as Forwarding Merchant is required
• Previous working experience in the import and export department is beneficial
• Recent graduates as well as experienced candidates will be considered equally
