Description:

We seek two immediate interns from San Antonio-area universities for assistance with web-based content and economic analysis research in areas related to water technology, economic and workforce, commercialization and entrepreneurship. Interns required to have experience in web-content capture, generation, and presentation as well as data analysis of demographic, economic, and financial information.

Supporting the Statewide Program Manager in-office as well as remotely (via campus access), interns will be exposed to the initial phases of the statewide organization in critical areas of water technology through specific tasks (including presentation, report, and other content creation and presentation.

Seeking 10-15 hours per week, minimum with some after-hours (post 5pm and some weekends) where applicable. Small stipend coupled with reference to university, dean, department and/or professor for credit or additional work assignment.

Qualifications:

Self-motivated and driven to work rapidly by learning licensed software program for data analysis and web-based information capture. Type of individual that asks key questions upfront and then gets going. Offers suggestions to improve upon and then do the work.

Powerpoint, Excel, Word - strong prior use. Prezi or similar alternative presentation format helpful. Background and ability to convert data into graphics and innovative, creative ways to tell the story of often significant scientific, technological, and economic data points.

Understanding of technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, and/or water related industry is beneficial.
