ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.
• Attend and analyze the effectiveness of trade events as it relates to sales execution.
• Develop social media resources to improve trade outreach for events and promotions
• Coordinate and assist with Chicago Gourmet sponsorship activation
• Help facilitate with the launch of EDGE, an employee engagement and philanthropy committee
• Assist with brand promotional events
• Solicit and facilitate supplier involvement of trade events
• Receive, enter and process supplier orders for special events
• Coordinate POS and on-site branding for SGWS and participating brands
• Assist with trade education events including spirit and wine tastings, certification courses and supplier focused initiatives
• Analyze and assist with organizing CRM data

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be a full-time college student. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, and be able to meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Must possess analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to function well in a team environment and possess strong collaboration skills. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, proof of state car registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Must be attending college degree program on a full-time basis.
• Proficiency with a variety of computer programs, with emphasis on Microsoft Office is required.
