Description:

We are looking for programming interns who possess some knowledge in their field, but can come into our company and learn to further use and implement these programs in a workplace setting. You will be learning and receiving tasks on implementation and design from our Lead Programmer and must be able to get the job done.

We are building a distributed administration system for our company and we will be utilizing third party APIs in shipping and E-commerce fields, as well as designing and building our own APIs for both public and local use.

We are going to be maintaining some legacy systems, mainly OpenCart, while we develop our own framework.
We will be establishing these services in a distributed environment, across numerous domains and servers. We need someone who can think outside the box and apply the best practices.

We will be developing for the following:

CMS
Knowledge Base and Customer Service Platform
E-commerce
Warehouse MGNT system
Inventory Control System and Accounting
Admin UI
Email Marketing
Stats and Tracking Systems
Reporting System and Data Warehouse

Interns will start immediately and can be with the company until the end of the Fall or Spring semesters. There is a possibility of a full-time job offer at the end of the internship.

Qualifications:

We are looking for interns with skills in any of the following:

1. Javascript, HTML/CSS, JSON and XML
2. Knowledge of Restful API
4. Be familiar with and able to enforce a Test Driven Development approach
5. Practice documentation of projects and all code
6. Mongo Database
7. LINUX Operative System

MUST
1. Database MYSQL
2. MVC Structure
3. Basic level of AJAX
4. PHP Language or any scripting language
5. Be able to work well with others, and learn and share with the group

Paid Internship Info:

$15-$25 per hour depending on current skills

10-20 hours per week
