Description:

We’re always looking for extra assistance in building our communities across Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus. This summer, we need someone who can:

1) Create compelling content across all three platforms, and know (or quickly learn!) the difference between what works on each
2) Develop a flexible editorial calendar that incorporates travel trends, news, and community interests
3) Interpret Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics, and then provide recommendations for growing our community across our networks
4) Connect with fellow travelers worldwide by sharing, commenting, favoriting, and adding

The biggest part of this position will involve creating new content and researching and interpreting data across our networks. If you’re a grammar nerd and you actually enjoy graphs and charts, you’ll be in good company with our team.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

1) Excellent organizational and time management skills
2) Good online communication skills
3) Good writing and editing skills
4) Basic experience with Google services, including Gmail, Drive, and Hangouts
5) Reliable, consistent Internet access

In addition, interns must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or studying in the U.S. through a student visa. Interns also must be attending a college or university in the United States (or studying abroad from a U.S.-based institution), OR must be recent graduates (within the past two years) and must be 18 or older.

Hours:

5 to 10 hours per week
