The African Impact Foundation allows you to dive into NGO management while also providing opportunity to immerse yourself in the surrounding communities. Spread across seven different locations around Eastern and Souther Africa with a variety of projects, there is a perfect location fit for your interests and goals! Choose between St. Lucia, Cape Town or Greater Kruger, South Africa to Livingstone, Zambia as well as Kilimanjaro or Zanzibar, Tanzania. Projects center around education, empowerment, health, conservation and/or gender equality.An internship with African Impact Foundation is an opportunity to stretch your skills in a safe, supported environment. African Impact Foundation Interns gain value from our experienced on-site staff as well as having a professional development mentor and intern supervisor who helps with customizing goals and outcomes. Having motivated interns who can flourish under our guidance, improves the opportunity to reach sustainable results for the communities we serve.
Qualifications:
Are you interested in contributing to the sustainable development solutions with a Non -Profit Organization, in collaboration with communities? Expanding your skills through practical application of interest or academic theory? International Development at grassroots level? Personal and professional development? Measuring and assessing impact? This internship is for you!

As an intern, you have the opportunity to add Bolt-Ons to your internship. These Bolt-On options include Professional Development Coach, Research Support and Monitoring and Evaluation Support. Each Bolt-On is led by professionals with years of experience in their specific field. If you are needing academic support, you have the opportunity to work side by side with a Research Professor or Expert in your specific field of study. Additionally, you have the option of adding just one Bolt-On or all Bolt-Ons to your experience.Tags:
