Data Mining/Genealogy Researcher Intern (In-house)

Description:
The successful candidate would be required to locate subjects using third-party databases, internet and other search tools. The position involves investigating and locating people by working directly with many human and non-human sources.This includes a raw analysis of databases and data management aspects, data preprocessing, data mining of complex perspectives and summarizing it into useful information -- including considerations, post-processing of discovered structures, visualization and online updating.
Additionally, an analysis of data from many different historical perspectives then categorizing and summarizing the data info focused relationships is essential.
Qualifications:
Preferred Majors: IT, Informatics/Computing, Genealogy, Anthropology, History, Criminal JusticeThe ideal candidate is persistent, analytical and resourceful.
Former experience as a Genealogy Researcher, data analyst, librarian, information scientist, mathematician, statistician or intelligence analyst is preferred.
Required qualifications:
-Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
-Excellent internet navigation research skills/data mining/data analysis
-Intermediate MS Excel, CRM database skills and related applications
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Organization skills
