Company/Organization: AB&D Furniture MFG.

Description:

-Assist Lead Product Engineers in the completion of projects.
-Give detail shop drawings out for manufacturing.
-Help take products from concept into production.
-Suggest continuous improvement methods to procedures,and processes.
-Organize BOM for products, supervise process, and conduct prototyping.
-Report project status to the Lead Product Engineer.

Qualifications:

-Working towards bachelors in engineering (Manufacturing or Mechanical).
-Strong design & problem solving knowledge is preferred.
-Must have CAD skills and experience (3D parametric software preferred).
-Must be fluent in the utilization of Microsoft office tools such as Excel.
-Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Concepts (TPS, JIT, Kaizen,etc.).
-Good communication skills and computer literacy.
-Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
