Growing Carmel area company is looking for a qualified intern to join our sales and marketing team. Our team is responsible for sales and marketing of all divisions within the company including retail, special events, private teaching, and coaching/consulting.

This intern should be prepared to work in a fun, flexible environment and will gain broad experience in various aspects of marketing. Weve listed the responsibilities and requirements below but you should know up front that Suits need not apply. Were just not that way and you shouldnt be either. Think less Blue Suits and more Green Day. Were not stuffy so if youre the right fit, you arent either.

Responsibilities:
-Assist in the creation of signage, flyers, email campaigns, online promotions, etc.
-Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
-Assist with the fulfillment of marketing offers and execution of events
-Assist with the preparation and delivery of teaching materials
-Open and sort mail
-Provide support to social media efforts
-Develop and maintain contact database
-Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
-Assist in retail sales
-Support public relations activity

Qualifications:

Requirements
Company is looking for an undergraduate student in the Carmel/Northside Indy area who is majoring in Sales, Marketing or Advertising with an interest in Music or majoring in Music with an interest in the Sales, Marketing and Advertising aspect of the music industry. The right candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a solid working knowledge of web and social media, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Wordpress experience is a bonus!
