Curtain Call Youth Players is offering a web internship to maintain and update the organization’s website and carry out projects to expand and enhance its web presence. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in producing and maintaining an innovative, professional website while working with a small team of dedicated people. MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs continual maintenance and SEO implementation on the CCYP website (www.ccyp.org)
• Overseeing and performing content development; preparing, rewriting and copyediting to improve readability. Organizing website space for story text, submitted content.
• Work on embedding social media applications in the website.
• Oversee online registration and ticket sale process

Qualifications:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & CREDENTIALS:
• Be very familiar with Joomla and have some familiarity with Photoshop, JotForm and Paypal integaration; will develop strong skills in these and other cutting-edge programs.
• Quick learner with outstanding adaptability and flexibility to new technologies and methods.
• High school diploma required.

This internship entails about 10-15 hours per week, from initial hire to June 30, 2014. The position is unpaid, but will provide academic credit working with the requirements of your academic institution. Curtain Call Youth Players is a 20-year-old community theatre providing high-quality, family friendly theatre in Cobb County.
